Job Description

A Healthcare Financial Analyst manages, analyzes, and reports on financial data for medical facilities, hospitals, or insurance providers to optimize profitability and efficiency

Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts for hospital departments, service lines, or insurance products.
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss (P&L) reports and balance sheets.
Variance Analysis: Analyze trends and variances in revenue and expenses, investigating discrepancies to inform management.
Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement within healthcare delivery, such as supply chain efficiency or staff utilization.
Data Management: Maintain and monitor secure, accurate financial databases and ensure data integrity.
Stakeholder Communication: Present financial results and actionable insights to department managers, administration, and executive leadership
