Job Summary
- Partner with the Asia COO to build a world-class, centralized operations division for Asia; analyzing the current operating model, advising on and implementing the future structure for leadership buy-in.
- Support the India CEO and Executive team as a strategic advisor on all matters related to operations, technology, and digital transformation.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies critical to achieving operational excellence and transformation through innovation, automation, and use of emerging technologies including
*Artificial Intelligence, **Machine Learning, and **Advanced Analytics*.
- Develop and operationalize India's business strategy to build a best-in-class Operations & Technology organizationenabling efficient delivery of products and services through optimized, data-driven, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Build a long-term operating vision encompassing targeted centers of excellence in operational effectiveness, process automation, and IT innovation.
- Oversee 300+ employees and contractors, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibility Areas
Operational Support, Execution & Strategic Initiative Delivery
- Cultivate a client-focused environment that prioritizes operational excellence, digital adoption, and accountability.
- Drive technology-led operational transformation through *AI, process automation, and data intelligence* initiatives to enhance service efficiency, risk control, and client experience.
- Create and implement operational capability models supported by AI-driven insights to improve functional efficiency across brokerage, placement, post-placement, and portfolio operations.
- Ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives, including M&A integrations and business transformations, leveraging AI and analytics where applicable for full value realization.
- Establish, track, and exceed SLA-driven performance metrics related to service, cost, quality, and innovation.
Operational Planning
- Leverage advanced data analytics and AI tools for proactive operational planning and performance insights.
- Define the operations and technology strategy, optimize footprint, and manage budgets to align with financial and growth goals.
- Continuously assess industry, technology, and regulatory trendsparticularly in AI and automationto ensure readiness and compliance.
Information Technology Oversight & Coordination
- Oversee the acquisition, integration, and maintenance of enterprise technology systems and digital platforms.
- Drive the adoption of *AI-powered tools* to strengthen decision-making, client service delivery, and risk management.
- Maintain a robust IT control environment and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity readiness.
Organization Optimization, People Management & Communication
- Lead operations and technology teams with a strong emphasis on digital literacy, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Recruit and develop future-ready talent with exposure to *AI, data engineering, and digital tools*.
- Establish a culture fostering operational excellence, innovation, and continuous learning across the Asia O&T organization.
- Communicate the operations and technology strategy effectively to stakeholders, emphasizing transformation and AI-driven growth.
Candidate Experience
- Minimum 15+ years of Operations & Technology experience, ideally within the *insurance or financial services* industry.
- Proven record in organizational transformation leveraging *AI, automation, and emerging technologies* to drive process efficiency and client value.
- Experience leading *AI or digital transformation programs* integrated with core business operations.
- Demonstrated results in *M&A post-acquisition integration* for transactions in the $10M$250M range.
- Expertise in process design, project management, and change leadership with proficiency in operational excellence frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or higher certification preferred; *AI or Digital Transformation certification* is a plus
