Job Description
Role & responsibilities:
Role Overview:
As a Windchill PLM Functional Consultant at LTTS, you will play a pivotal role in delivering enhancements and integrations for Clients Companys Windchill PLM environment. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing functional solutions, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring successful implementation of processes such as Part Request, BoM Creation, ECAD Integration, Hypercare support and further.
This role demands strong expertise in Windchill PLM modules, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage legacy backlogs while driving new implementations aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Engage with Client Company stakeholders to capture functional requirements for Part Request, BoM creation, and ECAD integration.
- Analyze existing Windchill PLM processes (PDM, eBoM, mBoM, Part Classification) and identify gaps.
- Solution Design & Documentation
- Define functional specifications for Windchill enhancements and Oracle ERP integration.
- Prepare process flow diagrams, use cases, and configuration documents.
- Ensure compliance with PLM best practices and industry standards.
- Support configuration of Windchill modules (PDM, MPMLink, Classification, ECAD integration and so on).
- Collaborate with technical consultants involved for the customization and integration of Windchill with ERP (Oracle ERP Preferred).
- Develop and execute test cases for UAT and system validation.
- Provide functional support during Hypercare for the projects.
- Work with business teams to prioritize and resolve issues from implementations.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the bridge between business users and technical teams.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user enablement activities.
- Ensure smooth adoption of new processes across R&D and manufacturing plants.
Required Skills & Experience
- Core Expertise
- Strong functional knowledge of Windchill PLM modules: PDM, Document Management, MPMLink (mBoM), Parts Classification, SUMA.
- Experience in Part Request workflows, BoM creation processes, and CAD/ECAD integrations (preferably Altium).
- Understanding of ERP integration (Oracle ERP preferred).
