2. CAD Modelling & Technical Drawings
Use CAD software (e.g., Rhino, MatrixGold, JewelCAD) to create accurate 3D models.
Prepare technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing teams.
3. Trend & Market Research
Identify global and local jewellery trends, materials, stones, and styles.
Analyze competitor products and market demand to inspire new design ideas.
4. Coordination with Production & Merchandising
Work with artisans, setters, and metal workers to ensure accurate execution of designs.
Support sourcing of gemstones, materials, and components.
Collaborate with merchandising to align designs with pricing and target customers.
5. Quality Review
Evaluate prototypes and samples; suggest modifications for aesthetics or feasibility.
Ensure designs meet quality, durability, and brand standards.
