Software Test Engineer (Manual, Automation & AI-Driven Testing) @ Siemens

A skilled and passionate quality engineer who thrives on ensuring excellence through Manual, Automation, and AI-driven testing practices. Youll help us deliver high-quality products by owning test strategies, building robust automation frameworks, and leveraging AI tools to drive innovation in testing.

• Designing comprehensive test scenarios and cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Performing functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing to ensure end-to-end quality.
• Developing and maintaining automation test suites for UI, API, and backend layers using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or REST Assured.
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins) for fast feedback loops.
• Exploring and adopting AI-driven testing tools for test generation, optimization, and defect prediction.
• Using AI to analyze test results, identify flaky tests, and improve regression efficiency.
• Collaborating with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Mentoring junior testers and promoting best practices across the team.
• Driving continuous improvement in test processes, tools, and metrics.

• Bringing 4+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
• Having a strong foundation in Manual Testing concepts, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Demonstrating hands-on experience with UI and API test automation.
• Being proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Working with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit.
• Possessing API testing experience using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
• Understanding CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Showing exposure to AI-driven testing tools or a strong interest in adopting AI in QA.
• Communicating effectively and solving problems with a quality-first mindset.
