Job Description
So, whats the role all about?
As a Specialist Program Manager, you will lead complex, cross-functional programs and initiatives that support the organizations strategic goals. You will work closely with stakeholders across Product Management, R&D, Operations, and other functions to drive roadmap planning, timely and successful execution, and measurable business outcomes. You will not only track and report on progress, but own the program end-to-end, challenging scope, driving decisions, and ensuring that teams deliver the right outcomes with high quality.
How will you make an impact?
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-team programs across the CXone portfolio, from concept through launch and post-release stabilization.
Develop deep product and domain expertise, proactively identifying functionality gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Drive and facilitate roadmap planning with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities, scope, sequencing, and execution plans to achieve business objectives.
Translate strategic objectives into clear program charters, measurable success criteria, and actionable execution plans.
Build and maintain integrated program plans (scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, capacity, and release plans) in partnership with Product and Engineering leaders.
Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve blockers across teams and workstreams, ensuring timely delivery and organizational release readiness.
Champion Agile program execution and continuous improvement of processes, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Jira, Confluence, release planning).
Act as the single point of accountability for program clarity, maintaining up-to-date status, risks, decisions, and trade-offs for all stakeholders.
Independently draft and deliver executive-level communications and presentations, translating complex program details into clear, data-driven, and actionable insights for senior management.
Model leadership maturity and extreme ownership, fostering a collaborative, solution-oriented team environment and holding yourself and others accountable for outcomes.
Mentor and coach other Program/Project Managers on best practices, communication, and stakeholder management
Have you got what it takes?
812 years of experience in the IT/software industry, including 5+ years in software development program management leading complex, multi-team initiatives.
Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies, including Agile/Scrum practices, and the ability to apply them pragmatically.
Proven track record of owning outcomesnot just reporting statusby driving decisions, resolving issues, and ensuring delivery of measurable business results.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders across Product, R&D, Operations, and other functions.
Demonstrated ability to independently prepare and present executive-level communications and presentations, providing clear, concise narratives and recommendations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a bias for action and a focus on solutions rather than escalation alone.
Hands-on experience with:
Software Development and Quality processes and standards
Release Management and pre-/post-production product launches
Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Power BI
Working knowledge of:
Cloud technologies (AWS, Snowflake)
DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts
PMP or Agile certifications are preferred
