Service Engineer @ Akasa Clean Energy

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Lithium-Ion Battery systems

Diagnose and troubleshoot battery, BMS, inverter, and power system issues

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance at customer sites

Monitor battery performance and ensure optimal system efficiency

Provide technical support to clients and resolve service complaints on time

Prepare service reports and maintain service records

Coordinate with the technical and operations team for service planning

Ensure compliance with safety standards while handling battery systems

Support field testing and quality checks of battery packs

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

Strong knowledge of Lithium-Ion Battery technology

Understanding of Battery Management System (BMS)

Basic knowledge of solar power systems, inverters, and energy storage systems

Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams

Hands-on skills in electrical and electronic troubleshooting

Knowledge of DC systems, charge/discharge cycles, and battery safety

Good communication and customer-handling skills

Willingness to travel to project and client sites

Educational Qualification

Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or related field

Experience

Freshers with relevant technical knowledge can apply

Up to 2 years of experience in battery systems, solar, UPS, EV, or power electronics preferred

Additional Requirements

Field-oriented and problem-solving mindset

Ability to work independently and in a team

Two-wheeler preferred for site visits
