The Sr Test Engineer is responsible for the hands-on implementation of Azure/Hadoop/Spark validation that meet business requirements, goals, and objectives and, at the same time, encompass the full range of technologies employed by client servers, networks, systems, and data management processes.
Responsibilities
4-8 Years of QA experience in Bigdata Ecosystem -Hortonworks (HiveQL, HDFS), Sqoop, Spark Strong in SQL and work experience in Azure, DataStage, Teradata, DB2, SQL Server Knowledge in Shell Scripting/Unix Azure experience is a plus Strong skills in various data validation methodologies between source and target of various formats Strong experience in test management tools and other tools like Teradata SQL Assistant, Control M Scheduler, XMLSPY, Winscp, Putty, Notepad++, Ultraedit etc SDLC Methodology Agile / Scrum Experienced in Onsite/Offshore model Individual Contributor, flexible to work in multiple projects and works independently Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal, written and communication skills.
