Job Description
We are seeking a Distinguished Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a minimum of >10 years of progressive experience to provide technical vision, strategic design, and hands-on engineering excellence for our global, enterprise-scale virtualization and hybrid cloud environment. This is a top-tier role for a SUPER Administratorsomeone who is not only an expert in Citrix and supporting infrastructure but is also a proven leader in Cloud Architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure), automation, and performance at a massive scale.
The ideal candidate will move beyond daily operations to lead automation efforts, align with global standards, and act as the ultimate Level 3/4 escalation point for the most complex system-wide challenges.
Core Requirement :
Architecture
Proven expertise in designing, architecting, and implementing highly available, fault-tolerant Citrix infrastructures across hybrid cloud models (on-premises and public cloud).
Cloud Mastery
Expert-level proficiency in designing and deploying cloud-native virtualization solutions on AWS (Workspaces/AppStream) and GCP, including integration with core cloud services.
Technical Depth
Deep, hands-on mastery of Citrix NetScaler/F5 Big-IP/HAProxy for high-performance global load balancing, security, and complex gateway configuration.
Automation & DevOps
Advanced skills in scripting and configuration management using PowerShell, Python, and/or Ansible/Terraform for full environment lifecycle automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture & Design Leadership
- Assist in the Design and the implementation of complex, global solutions and architecture for a highly available, disaster-resilient hybrid Citrix and cloud environment.
- Identify design requirements and provide authoritative recommendations for capacity planning and technical currency.
- Work directly with Enterprise Architects, Customers and Business Application teams to define high-level requirements and create technical solutions that meet strategic business needs.
2. Technical SME & Escalation
- Act as the final Level 3/4 escalation point for complex infrastructure related issues, troubleshooting and coordinating problem resolution across Windows Server, Network, and Cloud teams.
- Manage and maintain enterprise profile management across all XenApp and XenDesktop deployments (e.g., CPM, FSLogix).
- Research, develop, and implement parameters for capacity planning, performance tuning, and overall optimization to eliminate systemic bottlenecks.
3. Automation & Process Improvement
- Forecast and recommend short- and long-term strategies, and lead the implementation of those strategies to improve service delivery speed and stability.
- Lead the development and implementation of standards for automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across the platform.
- Contribute to the setup of a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) organization focused on enhanced Level 3 services and operational excellence.
