Job Description
Job Summary
The Reservation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the reservations team, ensuring accurate booking processing, maximizing room occupancy, and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves coordinating with front office, sales, and revenue management teams to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide the reservations team on daily booking operations
- Handle room reservations through phone, email, OTAs, and booking systems
- Ensure accuracy of reservations, rates, and guest information
- Monitor room availability and coordinate with Front Office and Sales teams
- Manage group bookings and special requests
- Resolve guest issues related to reservations professionally
- Prepare daily and monthly reservation reports
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
- Train new reservation staff and support team development
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management (preferred)
- 24 years of experience in hotel reservations or front office
- Prior supervisory experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of hotel PMS systems (Opera, IDS, CRS, etc.)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
