Billing Associate - RCM (Hospital Billing) @ IKS HEALTH

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Process acute hospital billing for IP/OP claims using UB-04
• Handle Medicare Part A & Part B billing with correct TOB, DRG, and payer rules
• Apply revenue, condition, value, and occurrence codes accurately
• Identify and resolve billing edits to ensure clean claim submission
• Ensure compliance with 2-Midnight and 72-Hour/72R billing guidelines

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Acute / Hospital Billing (Provider side)
• Hands-on experience with UB-04 Inpatient & Outpatient claims
• Strong knowledge of Medicare Part A & Part B billing rules
• Working exposure to DRG, TOB, revenue, condition & value codes
• Experience with billing edits, rejections and clearinghouse tools
