Role Overview
Genpact is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Business& Agri Banking Operations. This role is ideal for a customer-centricoperations leader with strong expertise in Business Banking and Agri LendingOperations.
As an Operations Manager, you will lead a team of business banking analysts& SMEs, manage end-to-end service delivery, and partner closely withGenpacts Customer Experience Management teams and global banking clients toimprove customer journeys and operational outcomes.
The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in Lending Operations, astrong people leadership & customer first mindset, and the ability tochallenge the status quo through innovation, automation, and continuousimprovement.

Responsibilities
As part of the Business Banking Services team, you will be responsible foroverseeing end-to-end Business Banking Operations, ensuring delivery excellenceacross service levels, compliance, and client satisfaction. 
Key responsibilities include:
    Handle client operations for business lendingactivities, including Booking and Servicing functions, ensuring accuracy,timeliness, and compliance with banking standards.
    Audits data transactions and takes/makes client calls,is responsible for adhering to defined performance level parameters(efficiency, quality etc.)
    Bring deep domain expertise in business lendingoperations and act as the subject matter authority for client and internalteams.
    Apply proactive problem-solving approaches byanticipating potential challenges and addressing them before they escalate intoissues. 
    Drive better margins by ensuring optimal utilizationof resources, automation of manual efforts, and strategic workforce deployment.
    Participate in cross-functional discussions on processstandardization, system validation, customization, and integration of newtechnologies and tools to enhance reporting accuracy and process efficiency.
    Engage actively in new client pilots, solution design,and process reviews for new opportunities, ensuring seamless implementation andsteady-state delivery.
    Ensure strict adherence to SLAs, compliance standards,and data security protocols in line with client and regulatory expectations.
    Lead, mentor, and inspire teams, building a positiveand collaborative work environment that promotes accountability, learning, andhigh performance.
    Challenge the status quo by bringing innovativeperspectives and continuously identifying new ways of working that improveefficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications

    Graduation (Bachelors Degree in Commerce/Financepreferable)

Preferred qualifications 
    Strong understanding of the end-to-end loan lifecycle,including origination, document preparation, loan booking, servicing, andclosure.
    Prior experience in Business/Retail Banking/Mortgageor Finance industry. Any experience in working with Australian Bank/Mortgage ofFinance industry would be helpful
    Experience in handling medium to large teams (20-25+FTEs) in a BPO or Banking operations setup.
    Expertise in execution, solution identification,process mapping, and process documentation.
    Strong capability to manage and enhance clientrelationships, ensuring operational continuity, satisfaction, and long-termengagement.
    Excellent Interpersonal skills
    Experience using MIS tools and technologies (Excel,Power BI, SQL, or equivalent) to monitor performance and operationalefficiency.
    Proficient in MS Office skills including MS Excel
