Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Showroom Sales Executive to join our retail furniture team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, understanding customer needs, and helping them find the right furniture pieces to suit their requirements. You will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining showroom appearance, and creating a positive shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom with a friendly and professional attitude
- Understand customer needs and provide furniture recommendations based on style, functionality, and budget
- Explain product features, materials, dimensions, warranties, and delivery options
- Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and follow up on leads to close sales
- Maintain the visual merchandising and cleanliness of the showroom
- Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
- Update inventory records and provide feedback on fast-moving or underperforming items
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and promptness
- Maintain knowledge of current market trends, new product launches, and competitor activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred (or equivalent experience in retail sales)
- 13 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in furniture or home dcor
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good sense of aesthetics and attention to detail
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office)
