Job Description

1. Integration Design & Development

• Design and develop endtoend interfaces using SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and related integration technologies.
• Configure ESR (Enterprise Service Repository) and ID (Integration Directory) objects.
• Develop Mappings (Graphical, Java, XSLT).
• Set up ICO, sender/receiver agreements, communication channels, and adapters (SOAP, REST, IDoc, File, SFTP, JDBC, RFC, etc.).
• Work with AEX (Advanced Adapter Engine) and AIF (Application Interface Framework).

2. Interface Monitoring & Support

• Monitor PI/PO message queues, channels, and system health.
• Troubleshoot interface failures and performance issues.
• Provide L2/L3 support and coordinate with Basis for system-level issues.

3. System Enhancements & Upgrades

• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migration from PI to PO/CPI.
• Implement interface enhancements based on changing business needs.

4. Collaboration & Documentation

• Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements.
• Prepare Technical Specifications, mapping documents, and interface diagrams.
• Train business teams on interface usage and monitoring.

5. Best Practices & Governance

• Ensure compliance with integration standards and naming conventions.
• Optimize interfaces for performance, security, and scalability.
• Support integration architecture decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO 7.x.
• Expertise in:
• ESR & ID configurations
• SOAP, REST, SFTP, IDoc, RFC adapters
• Message mappings (Graphical, Java, XSLT)
• BPM/ccBPM (optional)
• Knowledge of:
• SAP CPI (Cloud Integration) preferred
• XML, XSD, JSON, WSDL
• Web Services, APIs
• AIF (added advantage)

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
• Good communication & stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Experience

• 38+ years of relevant experience in SAP PI/PO integration.
• Experience with endtoend implementations.
