Role Overview
We are looking for a Project Management and Internal Audit professional with strong expertise in project planning, progress monitoring, control, and documentation, including procurement and contract management across complex infrastructure or construction projects. The role involves providing strategic advisory support across all project phases, from feasibility and cost planning to execution and close-out.
Key Responsibility Areas
Project Monitoring & Reporting
- Daily monitoring and reporting of project progress (performance & productivity)
- Preparation and submission of Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Monthly MIS, and Monthly Progress Reports (MPR) to the client
- Tracking project progress against KPIs, milestones, and timelines
Site Execution & Quality Control
- Monitor and review site execution with respect to approved drawings and quality standards
- Ensure adherence to quality norms, specifications, and approved methodologies
Billing & Commercial Control
- RA bill certification as per BOQ and actual work executed
- Review measurements, quantities, and supporting documentation
Procurement & Technical Review
- Review procurement of raw materials
- Validate mix designs, method statements, and compliance with applicable standards
Project Advisory & Risk Management
- Support Project Managers and teams in task planning, resource allocation, and risk management
- Identify potential risks/issues and proactively recommend mitigation strategies
- Advise on contingency planning and problem resolution
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, project teams, and senior management
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives
- Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly progress presentations to clients
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong project planning, monitoring, and control skills
- Experience in construction/infrastructure project environments
- Knowledge of BOQ, RA billing, procurement, and quality management
- Strong documentation, MIS, and reporting capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills
Preferred Profile
- Experience in large infrastructure / construction / EPC projects
- Exposure to project audits or internal audit functions is an added advantage
