Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Architect with a strong focus on application architecture (APPS) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and robust cloud solutions on the Azure platform. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services, cloud architecture best practices, and a passion for leveraging cloud technologies to drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-based applications and services on the Azure platform, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture designs.
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, design patterns, and best practices.
- Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance on cloud architecture decisions to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Optimize existing cloud solutions for performance, cost, and reliability.
- Stay current with Azure services and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in the development of cloud governance and compliance policies.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in Azure Cloud Architect - APPS, with a deep understanding of application design and deployment on Azure.
- Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.
- Understanding of networking concepts and services in Azure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Azure certifications such as Azure Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Certified DevOps Engineer are highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
