Cloud Architect | National Health Authority, Delhi
About the role
NHA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect with experience in private/public
cloud and hyper-scaler technologies to lead devOps and cloud division at NHA. The candidate should have hands-on experience designing enterprise-grade cloud solution architectures, including load balancing, next-generation firewalls, API gateways, HAProxy, NGINX, and Kubernetes-based container orchestration in private or public cloud environments.
The role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide guidance and leadership.
Qualifications
B.E/B.TECH OR MCA from a reputed college/University.
Technical Experience & Competency
- Overall, minimum 15 years of total IT experience post qualification completion.
- Proficiency in Network Security and Infrastructure Security Design, experience in leading security
and compliance team.
- Deep knowledge & understanding of Infrastructure Security and Application Security in terms of
OWASP Top 10 Security Standard.
- Familiarity with CERT-In guidelines and Security Audit experience.
- Experience in designing security architecture that is compliant with the Government of India.
- Experience in doing compliance audits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical
concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex security issues
and recommend effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- B.E/B.TECH/MCA/M.TECH from a reputed college/University
Certification: AWS solution Architect Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
Expert or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect
Key Mandate
- Design cloud architecture solutions that meet the NHA's technical and business requirements.
- Develop cloud migration strategies and plans for inter cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud services and providers based on performance, scalability,
security, and cost.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-based solutions and ensure
alignment with best practices and standards.
- Architect cloud-native applications using microservices architecture, containers, and serverless
technologies.
- Implement security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
- Design and implement cloud automation and orchestration processes to streamline deployment
and management.
- Optimize cloud performance and cost by monitoring resource utilization, analysing cost metrics,
and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to continuously improve
our cloud architecture practices.
- Design and implement robust cloud architectures for NHAs enterprise applications.
- Leverage private cloud and hyper-scaler technologies to meet business needs.
- Develop solutions based on load balancing, next-generation firewalls, API gateways, HAProxy,
NGINX, and Kubernetes.
- Understand network design and assist application teams in debugging applications.
- Set up infrastructure telemetry using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Implement service mesh technologies like Istio with traceability configuration.
- Stay updated with the latest GCC cloud architecture compliance requirements and ensure our
solutions adhere to them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and deliver scalable solutions
