Qualification: BE/BTech (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) | MBA/MHA preferred
Job Purpose:
The Project Head will be responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of hospital projects including greenfield, brownfield, and expansion initiatives. The role ensures projects are completed within approved timelines, budgets, quality benchmarks, and in compliance with healthcare regulatory and accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end execution of hospital projects from concept, design, construction to commissioning
- Prepare and monitor detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and cash flows
- Coordinate with architects, hospital planners, MEP consultants, biomedical teams, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with NABH, NBC, fire safety, pollution control, and local statutory norms
- Oversee installation and integration of MEP, HVAC, medical gases, and biomedical equipment
- Monitor contractor performance, certify bills, manage BOQs, variations, and claims
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Conduct regular project review meetings and report progress to senior management
- Ensure smooth handover, snag-free completion, and project closure documentation
- Support commissioning, trial runs, and readiness for hospital operations
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Hospital project planning & execution expertise
- Strong budgeting, cost control, and financial management skills
- Vendor, consultant, and contractor management
- Knowledge of hospital engineering systems & workflows
- Risk management and compliance handling
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera / ERP systems
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in multi-specialty hospital projects
- Exposure to NABH accreditation and healthcare compliance requirements
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight timelines
