Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT and MRI Technician to join our medical imaging department at Manipal Hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting diagnostic imaging procedures using CT and MRI equipment, ensuring high-quality images while adhering to safety standards. The technician will collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results that assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.  


Roles and Responsibilities

About the Role:
- The CT and MRI Technician will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures.
- The role involves preparing patients for scans, ensuring their comfort and safety during the procedure.
- The technician will work closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to provide high-quality imaging that aids in patient diagnosis and treatment. About the Team:
- You will be part of a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering exemplary patient care.
- The team includes radiologists, nurses, and other technicians who collaborate effectively to support diagnostic imaging services.
- Emphasizing a culture of learning and professional development, the team encourages continuous skill enhancement and knowledge sharing. You are Responsible for:
- Setting up and maintaining CT and MRI machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Conducting scans according to protocols and ensuring accurate image capture.
- Keeping detailed records of patient information and imaging procedures for further analysis and quality control. To succeed in this role you should have the following:
- A diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, with specialization in CT and MRI imaging.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific protocols and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care to ensure an understanding and comfortable experience for patients.
