Role Summary
We are looking for a QA Automation Tester who is passionate about building reliable test automation, improving test coverage, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. The role involves working closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to design, implement, and maintain scalable automated test solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium
- Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing for web applications
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios
- Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and evidence
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks for stability and performance
- Execute test cases manually when required and identify candidates for automation
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure automation scripts are integrated into CI/CD pipelines
Mandatory Skills
- 24 years of experience in QA testing (Manual + Automation)
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with:
- Playwright
- Selenium
- Strong programming experience in:
- Java
- JavaScript
- TypeScript
- Good understanding of:
- Test automation frameworks
- Page Object Model (POM)
- Test data management and test reporting
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git)
Good to Have (Plus Skills)
- Python scripting experience
- Exposure to AI-based testing tools, test automation using LLMs, or chatbot testing
- Experience validating API responses and backend flows
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Basic understanding of performance or security testing concepts
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proactive mindset with a focus on quality improvement
Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
