Job Description

Role & responsibilities

A. Clinical & Patient Care Support

• Assist nurses by supervising robots used for:
• Medication delivery
• Vital-sign monitoring
• Patient mobility assistance
• Transporting samples, equipment, or supplies
• Ensure robots follow patient safety protocols and hygiene standards.
• Respond promptly to alerts raised by robotic systems.
• Educate patients on interacting safely with healthcare robots.

B. Robotics Operation & Monitoring

• Daily setup, calibration, and functionality checks of robotic systems.
• Operate robotic dashboards, interfaces, and navigation tools.
• Monitor robot performance and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Coordinate with IT/biomedical engineering for repairs or advanced diagnostics.
• Maintain logs for robot tasks, routes, and performance.

C. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with hospital standards, infection control, and safety guidelines.
• Report system faults, safety incidents, and performance anomalies.
• Participate in audits related to robotic operations.

D. Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of:
• Medical devices
• Hospital Information Systems
• Robotic control interfaces
• Sensors, navigation, and automation systems
• Ability to troubleshoot software/hardware errors
