We have an immediate job opening for Medical Coding Manager
Experience: 8 to 12 years
Location: Perungudi, Chennai
Speciality: looking for Multi speciality coding experience, prefered ED & E&M
Job Role:
Responsibilities include overseeing and ensuring accurate medical coding practices, managing a team of coders, implementing and monitoring compliance with coding standards, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding regulations and changes within the healthcare industry.
Responsible for day-to-day planning as well as work allocation for the entire team
Ensuring regular as well as on-time floor and knowledge support for all team members
Develop and maintain monthly coding production and accuracy reports to track and optimize internal productivity and quality improvement activities
Will be handling client calls
Support quality/training team in creating SOPs
Qualifications:
Strong background in Medical Coding and coding experience
Proficiency in Medical Terminology and knowledge of Health Information Management systems
Certification in medical coding such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent is mandatory
Hands-on experience and expertise in implementing and maintaining coding standards and practices
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure high coding accuracy
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Working knowledge of the latest healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
Bachelors degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
