Civil Design Engineer @ Jacobs

Job Description

Responsible for the design and specification of fire suppression systems including wet- pipe, dry-pipe, pre-action, deluge, fire pumps, and storage tanks on a wide variety of project types.

Knowledge of special systems such as foam, spray, mist, clean agent, wet/dry chemical, and carbon dioxide is preferred

Keep up to date with latest industry practices, codes & standards like IS, NBC, NFPA, ISO, ASME

Perform hydraulic calculations and work with outside resources to incorporate special hazard systems Preparation of data sheets and material requisition.

Coordinate with other disciplines, clients, and other stake holders to develop a clash free system design.

Responsible to manage the assigned scope within agreed schedule and budget. Review contractor shop drawings, field inspections, and testing and commissioning reports. Coordinate with all disciplines for ensuring the package battery limits and incorporation of Vendor data

Review the 3D model on Navisworks and provide feedback to all the stakeholders.

Responsible for overall technical management / co-ordination with Contractors and site team as required to resolve RFIs

Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Civil

Experience: 7 to 20 years

Location: Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore & Hyderabad

Note: For expectational candidates having relevant industry experience full time role can be offered.
