Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review surgical procedures performed by surgeons to determine accurate coding and classification according to industry standards (CPC, ICD-10).
  
• Analyze medical records, including operative reports, pathology results, radiology images, and other relevant documentation.
  
• Identify and code all components of a procedure using appropriate CPT codes.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines for accurate billing and reimbursement.
  
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies or questions related to procedure coding.
