Role Overview
As a Senior Content Writer External Communications, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and amplifying Capgemini Indias brand voice across social media, PR, and digital platforms. You will be responsible for developing compelling content strategies and delivering high-impact narratives that align with our marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated content strategies to enhance Capgemini Indias brand presence across external channels.
- Act as a strategic advisor, guiding stakeholders toward optimal content approaches.
- Create engaging, share-worthy content including social media posts, blogs, and articles that resonate with target audiences and elevate brand reputation.
- Craft high-impact branding content such as award submissions and campaign narratives aligned with Capgeminis messaging framework.
- Lead employer branding initiatives by showcasing Capgemini Indias culture, values, and employee stories across digital platforms.
- Develop thought leadership content and LinkedIn posts for senior executives, capturing their voice and positioning them as industry leaders.
- Write and optimize content for campaign landing pages and Capgemini.com, ensuring SEO best practices and consistency across platforms.
- Edit and proofread all content to maintain clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, HR, and subject matter experts to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Monitor media and social trends, track content performance, and use analytics to refine strategies and enhance impact.
- Manage content workflows, coordinate with agencies, and ensure timely delivery of campaigns.
- This is an individual contributor role.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1012 years of experience in content writing, with strong exposure to social media, PR, and branding. Experience in the tech or consulting industry is a plus.
- Proven ability to create and manage content strategies and editorial calendars for multi-channel campaigns.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a flair for storytelling across formats including social media, video scripts, and web copy.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, SEO fundamentals, and content marketing best practices.
- Experience in analyzing content performance and making data-driven improvements.
- Creativity and brand acumen to translate complex topics into engaging narratives.
- Strong collaboration and project management skills, with experience working with designers, marketers, and agencies.
- Ability to work independently in a multi-stakeholder environment, with strong time management and ownership.
- Familiarity with communication tools, CRM platforms, and Gen AI tools is an added advantage.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A Masters degree or certifications in Digital Marketing/Content Strategy is a plus.
- Excellent proficiency in English; additional language skills are a bonus.
