Job Description
SKILLS & COMPETENCES
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development of Automation Frameworks and Scripts:
- Creating, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable automation test frameworks using Java, leveraging tools like Maven or Gradle for build automation.
- Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Implementing and maintaining automation frameworks like Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, or Hybrid frameworks.
- Developing and executing automated test scripts for RESTful APIs using Rest Assured with Java, ensuring data integrity and functionality.
- Embracing BDD practices and implementing scenarios using Cucumber or similar frameworks.
- Test Execution and Analysis:
- Executing automated test suites and analyzing results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Performing various types of testing, including smoke, sanity, regression, and integration testing.
- Debugging and troubleshooting issues related to automation script execution and application behavior.
- Generating detailed test reports using tools like TestNG, JUnit, Allure, or Extent Reports.
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in automation testing, particularly for APIs.
