Job Description
Job Title: Commis II

Department: Production / Kitchen
Reports To: Commis I / CDP / Sous Chef
Job Summary
The Commis II assists in food preparation and production as per Theobromas quality and hygiene standards. The role supports senior kitchen staff in daily operations while ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and adherence to recipes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of bakery and kitchen items as per standard recipes
- Follow Theobromas SOPs, quality standards, and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation at all times
- Support Commis I and senior chefs during production and service
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of raw materials and finished products
- Minimize wastage and report any quality or stock issues
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and safety regulations
- Assist in daily opening and closing kitchen duties
Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of bakery/kitchen operations
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organization
