Job Description

Greetings from SGS India Pvt. Ltd.!!

SGS India is actively looking for Junior Executive - Instrumentation at our Manesar Laboratory with Minimum 4 Years of Relevant Experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Performing routine instrument start-up, shutdown, and system suitability checks
Preparing mobile phases, standards, and reagents as per test method
Operating HPLC modules (pump, autosampler, column oven, detector)
Running samples as per validated SOPs and maintaining sequence logs
Monitoring pressure, flow rate, baseline stability, and detector performance
Performing basic troubleshooting (air bubbles, leaks, pressure fluctuations, lamp issues)
Conducting routine maintenance: degassing solvents, filter replacement, checking seals, injector cleaning
Ensuring calibration status and updating logs
Reviewing chromatograms, integration, and peak results
Maintaining documentation as per NABL/ISO guidelines
Ensuring adherence to safety and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

**Technical / Behavioral / Managerial / Critical Skills Desired:

Good understanding of basic Chemistry
Must have good knowledge about Food and agricultural, Water, soil, Biological related tests
Understanding of ISO 17025 requirements
Ability to work in a chemical / microbiological laboratory
Ability to work in a team with understanding and flexibility to complete analytical work.

Experience Required - Min 4 Yrs Relevant Experience

Education :

Essential: B.Sc.
Desirable: M.Sc.
Specialization: Chemistry, Bio- Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Technology, Biotechnology
