Job Description
We are looking for a QA Engineer (Professional Level) with a strong focus on quality assurance practices and API testing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that applications meet functional and non-functional requirements. Experience in testing RESTful APIs, automation frameworks, and debugging tools is highly desirable.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in API Testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, RestAssured, or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
- Basic understanding of programming languages (Java, Python, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and API-based applications.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for APIs and backend services.
- Validate API responses, error handling, and data integrity across environments.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects quickly.
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts for APIs and UI components.
- Participate in requirements analysis and provide feedback on testability.
- Document test results and create detailed bug reports in tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes and automation coverage.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated tests run as part of the deployment process.
- Contribute to test strategy and planning for new features and releases.
