Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) / QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in building scalable automation frameworks and leading QA initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java-based automation, API testing, and microservices validation, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality releases in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks (Hybrid, POM, BDD).
- Perform functional, regression, and API testing using Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, and Postman.
- Conduct microservices testing, including mocking with Docker and deployments on Kubernetes.
- Implement BDD frameworks with Cucumber to improve collaboration and test clarity.
- Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders in Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement).
- Mentor junior QA engineers, enhancing automation coverage and execution efficiency.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
- Generate detailed test reports, defect logs, and provide transparent communication to stakeholders.
Skills Required:
- Programming: Java (advanced level)
- Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, Rest Assured, Postman
- Frameworks: Hybrid, POM, BDD (Cucumber), Data-Driven
- Version Control / CI-CD: Git, GitHub, Jenkins
- Reporting & Utilities: Extent Reports, Excel Utilities
- Test Management: JIRA, Azure, TestRail
- Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, SDLC, STLC
- Microservices Testing: Docker (mocking), Kubernetes (deployment/orchestration)
