Job Description

tier-one VCs backing itAs a Database Architect, you will be responsible of driving high visibility and high impact projects from start to finish.
You will be responsible for Database architecture such as evaluating current implementation,
design DB architecture for highly scalable systems, research, prototype, implement new methodology to database architecture.

An ideal candidate will possess following:

1. 5 year of experience with MySQL with atleast 2 years of experience as Database Architect with MySQL2. Strong understanding of database concepts and architecture.3. Defining standards for database development, security, scalability, replication, storage and configuration management.4. Prior experience with MySQL clustering, sharding and other scalability techniques.5. Integration and maintenance of large databases.6. Defining and maintaining best practices for database architecture and operations.7. Experience in design, implementation & optimization of complex database schemas.8. Ability to assist software engineers in optimizing overall performance of application.9. Knowledge of latest technologies and tools available for improving the overall performance of the application.10. Good skills in Threading, Serialization, Security, performance optimization and normalization.11. Experience with NoSQL databases is added plus.12. Extremely good communications and interpersonal skills13. Ability to collaborate across departments14. Result oriented and ready to take ownership15.
