Job Description
SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) implementation. Lets break down the key points from your requirements:
Implementation Experience: The candidate should have experience in implementing SAP TM, including requirement gathering and blueprinting.
Design Experience: Mandatory design experience is essential. This involves designing solutions and processes within the SAP TM framework.
Process Flow Charts: The candidate should be proficient in creating process flow charts, which help visualize and document transportation processes.
Testing Experience: Experience in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is necessary.
Client Handling: Having experience in client interaction and management is beneficial.
SAP TM Knowledge:
- Master Data & CIF: Understanding of master data and Core Interface (CIF) in SAP TM.
- Order Management: Proficiency in handling transportation orders.
- Planning: Knowledge of profile-based and optimizer-based planning.
- Load Optimization: Understanding load optimization techniques.
- Freight Order Management: Managing freight orders.
- Intermodal and Multimodal Scenarios: Familiarity with different transportation modes.
- Carrier Selection & Optimization: Selecting carriers efficiently.
- Tendering: Managing tender processes.
- Freight & Forwarding Settlement: Handling financial aspects.
- TM Conditions and BRF+: Configuring transportation conditions and business rules.
Integration:
- Integrating SAP eWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and SAP EM (Event Management) with SAP TM.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA Embedded TM.
Master Data Management:
Instrumental in managing SAP TM master data, including products, business partners, dangerous goods, transportation network, and resources (vehicles, trailers, handling units).
Additional Skills:
- Working with IDOCs and output management through PPF (Post Processing Framework).
- Proven track record of successful SAP TM implementation projects.
- Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics processes.
- Proficiency in SAP TM configuration, including transportation planning and carrier selection.
- Experience with SAP TM integration across other SAP modules and third-party systems.
- Event Management expertise.
- Proficiency in Package Building and Freight Unit Building enhancements.
- Handling Minor & Major Releases and interpreting issues during releases.
- Hands-on experience in various transportation scenarios (Domestic Inbound, Domestic Outbound, International).
- Knowledge of OBI (Order-Based Integration) & DBI (Delivery-Based Integration) processes.
- Understanding charge calculation and cost distribution.
- Proficient in EDI/Non-EDI communication with carriers.
- Knowledge of tendering and execution processes.
