Job Description
JOB ROLE SUMMARYThe Network Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of enterprise and data center wide voice and data network solutions that align with the architecture and business models to achieve optimal solutions for Ensono and its customers. The Network Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions to include Network, Security/Threat, and Voice solutions; developing and maintaining network documentation; developing and maintaining network standards and guidelines; manage network and security capacity planning; interacting and consulting with Ensono ENSG customers to collect required solution information; coordinating solutions with Ensono ENSG customers; amd providing support for engineering design and implementation issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFully functional and self-directedProvides formal mentorshipHigh complexity assignments- ownerModerate complexity assignments owner (1 or >)Low complexity assignments provide oversight/reviewRegularly lead self and others and/or established as Product SME and/or established as specialistSees the whole picture and adjusts work accordinglyUtilize his/her technical (area of) expertise on fairly complex, high-priority projects and/or processesLead a fairly complex, high-priority project and/or process.Contributes to product strategy for a specific product. Cisco, etc Builds product business plans to drive revenue and rationalize investment.Creates product road maps and writes user stories and requirements.Partners with engineering to ensure product strategy and requirements are aligned with development strategy and to orchestrate product development.Engages delivery organization to ensure product operations and delivery capabilities are addressed.Communicates project status to clients. Measures and assesses client satisfaction.Participates with various teams regarding network projects, change tickets, and trouble tickets, etc.Assists in the evaluation of issue priority and provides front line response to various internal groups regarding product and solution support.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position does not have direct reports but may mentor less experienced associates in the role.

QUALIFICATIONSRequiredBachelor s Degree or 3 years of relevant work experienceCisco routing, switching technologies and/or F5 load balancing and security concepts
PreferredAdvanced, Knowledge of routing and switching protocols to include security policy setupDesired certifications or equivalent in one of these disciplines; CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, Checkpoint or other security certifications
Travel %TBD by field - Needed to create job code and for Department of Labor
Any reference to years of experience should be disregarded in the UK
