Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business/Solution Consultant with a strong background in the Retail Supply Chain domain. The ideal candidate should have expertise in retail business processes, supply chain operations, and planning tools. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and clients to design and implement solutions that optimize supply chain efficiency and planning accuracy.
Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Responsibilities:Partner with clients to understand business needs and define appropriate retail supply chain solutions
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, and process mapping
- Provide functional and domain expertise in retail forecasting, planning, and replenishment processes
- Work closely with technical teams during solution implementation and testing
- Support product development life cycle and assist in user training and documentation
- Ensure alignment of business solutions with organizational goals and client expectations
- Must-Have Skills:Strong understanding of the Retail Supply Chain Business Domain
- Expertise in Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, Procurement, and Merchandising processes
- Proven experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and solution consulting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good-to-Have Skills:Knowledge of Forecast Planning and Replenishment Basics for retail
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JDA Planning, O9 Planning, or Oracle RPAS
- Exposure to Retail Analytics or Demand Planning solutions
- Experience working in Agile environments and with cross-functional teams
