Senior Software Engineer @ Sysvine Technologies

Job Description

• Looking for a Perl CGI/Web App Developer with strong knowledge of WCAG, Perl, Python & Postgres. Role includes maintaining legacy code, implementing features, debugging, and ensuring accessibility, scalability & seamless integration.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience in Perl web or perl cgi programming, with experience managing and or modernizing web applications.


• Understanding of web application development and maintenance using Perl, Postgres or any RDBNS, and optionally Python.


• Experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse) for identifying and resolving accessibility issues.


• (Optional) Familiarity with infrastructure and services on AWS or similar cloud, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.


• (Optional) Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ and caching mechanisms like Redis.


• (Optional) debugging skills, including the use of logs, profiling tools, and runtime analysis.


• (Optional) Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.
