Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced Node.js developer with deep expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, and modern web technologies to design, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong architectural skills, proficiency across front-end and back-end frameworks, and hands-on experience with cloud, CI/CD, and containerization platforms.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and implement scalable and secure Node.js-based solutions.
- Lead development of microservices and APIs using Node.js, Express, and related frameworks.
- Define coding standards, architecture blueprints, and reusable components for the engineering team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust front-end and back-end integrations.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability using best practices.
- Review code, mentor developers, and ensure adherence to design and development standards.
- Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Docker).
- Ensure security, compliance, and performance benchmarks are met.
- Work in an Agile environment using tools like Jira, Trello, and Pivotal Tracker.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through research and adoption of modern tools and frameworks.
Technical Skills & Expertise:
- Programming Languages:
- JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, Python, C/C++, HTML5, CSS3, LESS/SASS
- Frameworks / Libraries:
- React, Redux, Redux-Saga, Django, GraphQL, Polymer, emscripten, LESS
- Template Engines:
- Jade (Pug), Dust.js, Handlebars.js
- Databases:
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
- Tools & Platforms:
- Postman, SVN, Git, Bitbucket, Docker, Jenkins, AWS, Kubernetes, LUCI, Gerrit, Gulp, Grunt, Webpack
- Methodologies & Processes:
- Agile Development (Scrum/Kanban)
- CI/CD pipeline setup and automation
- Code review and version control best practices
Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development with at least 4+ years in a Node.js architectural role.
- Proven experience designing scalable microservices and enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, RESTful APIs, and event-driven design.
- Experience with performance optimization, caching, and high-load systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps, containerization, and modern deployment strategies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide technical teams.
