Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, or other Java-based frameworks.
• Develop and maintain Python-based data processing pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and validating large datasets with high performance and reliability
• Contribute to architectural decisions and system design discussions across services and components.
• Review code, mentor junior engineers, and enforce best engineering practices.
• Implement development testing practices such as TDD, BDD, or Test-Last Development (TLD) to ensure code reliability.
• Assist in deployments, CI/CD processes, and cloud environments

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong expertise in Java with deep hands-on experience in Spring Boot or related frameworks (SpringBoot, Jersey, etc.).
• Experience with RESTful APIs / GraphQL API and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with development testing approaches such as TDD, BDD, or TLD
• Build and expose RESTful APIs using FastAPI to serve processed data and integrate with databases and external systems.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize application performance.
