Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in test automation frameworks, scripting, and CI/CD integration, along with a solid understanding of software testing principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or API applications.
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Maintain test data and ensure test environment stability.
• Prepare and share automation test reports and metrics.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium / Playwright / Cypress.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in API automation using tools like Rest Assured, Postman, or Karate.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).Role & responsibilities
