Job Description

• Design & run CI/CD: Git fundamentals: branch protections, trunk/PR workflows, code review best practices ;build/test/scan/release pipelines in GitHub Actions/Jenkins; Strong understanding of release automation, artifact versioning, and blue-green / canary deployments; migrate from Azure DevOps with parity or better SLAs;
• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker image build & hardening; multi-stage builds; SBOM generation; Kubernetes administration (ingress, HPA, RBAC, NetworkPolicies); package and release apps with Helm; Implementing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD ;manage multi-env promotion and rollbacks.
• Infrastructure as Code: provision VPC/VNet, compute, storage, networking, and platform add-ons via Terraform; Knowledge of Ansible for configuration management and post-provisioning automation ;enforce drift detection and review gates.
• Observability & Monitoring : implement metrics, logs, and traces with Prometheus & Grafana; SLO dashboards and alerts; error budget tracking.
• Security & compliance: integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into pipelines; image and IaC scanning; secrets management and least-privilege automation.
• Release engineering: versioning, artifact promotion, blue/green & canary strategies, incident response & postmortems.
• Developer experience: golden pipelines, repo templates, GitHub Copilot enablement guidelines, PR quality checks, caching, and feedback loops to cut lead time.
• Docs & enablement: playbooks, runbooks, how-to guides; coach teams on tooling and best practices.

Nice-to-have

• Service mesh, Canary/Argo Rollouts; Testcontainers/WireMock in CI; OPA/Conftest; OpenTelemetry; cost monitoring; Azure/AWS cloud ops.
• Payments/fintech exposure (secure data handling, audit logging, ISO 20022-aware test data).
• Experience using GitHub Copilot effectively (prompt patterns, code review with AI, policy guardrails).
