Job Description
Summary
A new GIT platform will be created in our existing Captive in India (CASPL) and it will operate some activities of Digital Centre of Excellence (DEC)
Digital Centre of Excellence (DEC) managed a transverse offer of digital products and delivers IT services through its centers of excellence.
Activities encompasses development of reusable components (building blocks), development and maintenance of business solutions that leverage on multiple expertise.
It requires professionals having technical competencies and noticeable experience on critical services in the context of an investment bank.
Working in DEC requires ability to extensively collaborate across geographies with other IT professionals and non-IT functions as well as a strong motivation on supporting the digital transformation of the bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality fully tested code according to specifications.
- Support applications in production - diagnose & resolve application/configuration/code technical issues.
- Propose suggest to for long term fix of production issue.
- Develop code on existing applications.
- Debug & Analyse existing applications.
- Maintain a high standard of delivery quality.
- Interact with architects to ensure good design and code quality.
- Ensure design leverages existing reusable components and has traceability to business requirements and ensure new modules are designed with reusability as a key requirement.
- Contribute technical topics such as vulnerabilities / obsolescence remediation.
- Review, and contribute to the performance tuning, and code optimization.
- Elaborate Project Documentations (Design documents, technical specifications, Deployment guide, Release notes, etc.)
- Apply DevOps practices in area of continuous and automated testing/deployment.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the local Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy. Complete any mandatory training in line with legal, regulatory, and internal Compliance requirements.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
- Refrain from taking any steps which could lead to the removal of certification of fitness and properness to perform the role.
- Undertake all necessary steps to satisfy the annual certification process.
- Comply with all applicable conduct rules as prescribed by the relevant regulator.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with Java/Spring MVC Spring boot technology stack.
- Proficient in front end development using HTML, Javascript, JQuery.
- Experience in supporting live applications (Level 3 support).
- Proficient in application debugging and troubleshooting.
- Proficient knowledge in database design and writing T-SQL, Stored Procedures.
- Familiarity with design and development of REST APIs.
- Knowledge in Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices and tooling (GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Junit, Sonar).
- Experience writing and running automated tests including, but not limited to, integration and unit
