Job Description
Skill Set: SySML Modelling - Only with expertise in Hardware/Mechanical systems.
Job Description:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML
- Proven proficiency with Magic Draw or Cameo Systems Modeler is essential.
- Robust knowledge of automotive hardware systems, particularly mechanical and mechatronic systems (e.g., steering, braking, suspension, wipers, latches).
- Demonstrated ability to work as a senior individual contributor, taking ownership of complex technical domains.
- Experience within the automotive industry and familiarity with its development processes and standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for abstracting complex mechanical interactions into clear, logical models.
- INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) certification.
- Experience integrating mechanical models with control software models in tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, or Polarion.
- Knowledge of physical modeling and simulation tools (e.g., Adams, Amesim) and how they can inform or be driven by the system architecture.
- Understanding of CAD tools (like CATIA, SolidWorks) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems to ensure alignment between the SysML model and the detailed mechanical design.
