Job description

Skill Requirement:

1. LINUX:

-> Experience of working as Linux administrator and managing infrastructure support.

-> Experience of working on Network issues, Ethernet Teaming or bonding.

-> Knowledge on server integration with storage.

-> Experience working with any of ticketing and monitoring tool for monitoring linux servers.

-> Experience working the Patch management system.

-> Knowledge of linux booting procedure.

-> Knowledge of Managing disks and different file systems like XFS, EXT4 , EXT3

-> Knowledge of Partition management by LVM, SWAP management.

-> Knowledge of Package management tools like yum, rpm.

-> Knowledge of remote access protocols such as SSH, FTP, SFTP, NFS.

2. Physical Hardware: Knowledge of Physical server setup.

3. Datacentre: Knowledge of working in datacentre environment.

Job Description:

* 24X7 support to Fault Tolerant (FT) servers

* Monitoring & Hardware maintenance of FT Servers for mission critical applications

* Linux System Administration involving OS installation, patching, user management, file/folder permission, IP and bond configuration, troubleshooting skills etc.

* Maintain Asset Inventory

* Logistics - Part IN/OUT

* Vendor management

* Asset acceptance, commissioning & decommissioning

* Infrastructure readiness activities

* Incident Management

* Service Requests handling
