Must have skills

Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and components.

ITSM module expertise is required

Scripting skills JavaScript (Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes) and Glide API (GlideRecord, GlideAjax, etc.) are needed

Form design, UI Policies, UI Actions, Workflow and Flow Designer skills required

Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs

Knowledge of Roles, ACLs, and Data Policies

ITIL concepts and best practices for ITSM processes.

Good to have skills

Flow Designer advanced features

Script optimization and query performance tuning

Scoped application development

Roles & Responsibilities

Build/modify forms, fields, UI policies, UI actions, business rules.

Implement SLAs (definitions, conditions, pause/resume, workflows).

Service Catalog design

Create Catalog Items, Record Producers, Catalog UI Policies, Client Scripts.

Implement flows/sub flows for approvals, notifications, tasking, and escalations.

Use Integration Hub spokes where applicable.

Build event-driven notifications, email templates, and inbound actions.
