Role: Power BI Developer, and Power BI QA
Experience: 8+ years

Gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable Power BI dashboards and analytical solutions.
Design and develop interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations that align with business needs.
Build and optimize Power BI data models with appropriate relationships, hierarchies, and calculations.
Develop DAX measures and calculated columns to implement business rules, metrics, and analytical logic.
Create data transformations using Power Query (M language) to clean, reshape, and prepare datasets for reporting.
Integrate multiple data sources (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, cloud services) into Power BI datasets.
Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage user access permissions across workspaces.
Deploy and publish reports across Dev/UAT/Prod environments and manage versioning.
Collaborate with business users to gather feedback and enhance reports based on evolving needs.
Troubleshoot data refresh failures, DAX computation issues, and model inconsistencies.
Document data models, metrics definitions, and report logic for transparency and ongoing maintenance.
Work with data engineers and DBAs to improve data availability, quality, and source performance.
Apply data visualization best practices to ensure clarity, usability, and effective storytelling.
Develop reusable templates, themes, and standard components for consistent reporting across teams.
Support UAT cycles by assisting users, validating feedback, and correcting issues.
Ensure adherence to organizational governance, naming conventions, and reporting standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for BI operations, performance, and automation.
