Job Description

TENDER MANAGER

Salary Range : 10 to 25 Lacs

Department: Bidding/Procurement

Reports To: Sales Head


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in marketing OR B. Pharma OR related field.

Must have 5 to 10 years of experience in handling Tenders of pharmaceutical industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with tender management software or tools is an advantage.

Proven experience in tender preparation and submission.


POSITION SUMMARY

The Tender Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of submitting tenders (proposals) for new projects, contracts, or services. This involves coordinating between internal teams, understanding client requirements, managing timelines, preparing documentation, and ensuring that all bids are of the highest quality. The role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.


Tender Identification & Bidding

  • Regularly monitor and identify relevant tenders from various Indian & global tender portals.
  • Analyze eligibility criteria, scope of work, and tender requirements for feasibility.
  • Prepare and submit bids on time with complete supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Accounts, Technical, QA, Logistics) for documents, certifications, and pricing.

Tender Documentation & Submission

  • Maintain updated vendor registrations on all major government procurement portals.
  • Prepare technical and financial bid documents, ensuring compliance with tender terms.
  • Manage EMD, BGs, bid security declarations, and other tender formalities.
  • Track tender status, clarifications, corrigenda, and deadlines meticulously.

Post-Tender Follow-up & Execution

  • Follow up on tender outcomes, participate in negotiations if required.
  • Coordinate for order execution, dispatches, invoicing, and payments for awarded tenders.
  • Maintain tender MIS reports and submission records.
  • Liaise with procurement officers and government departments professionally.
