Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Create 2D and 3D technical illustrations for S1000D Data Modules, including:
Maintenance, Installation, Removal & Replacement (IRR)
Illustrated Parts Data (IPD)
Fault Isolation and Troubleshooting
Develop exploded views, procedural illustrations, cutaway diagrams, system layouts, and wiring diagrams.
Convert engineering drawings and CAD models into publication-ready illustrations.
Ensure strict compliance with S1000D Issue 4.x, defense customer specifications, and reuse rules.
Support integration of illustrations into CSDB / IETM environments.
Work closely with design engineers, technical authors, and QA teams during reviews.
Maintain illustration libraries, style guides, and configuration-controlled source files.
Proficiency in tools such as:

Adobe Illustrator
Arbortext IsoDraw
Cortona 3D / CATIA Composer / Creo Illustrate / Solid Edge Technical Publications

Ability to lead a team size of 4-6 members.

Preferred candidate profile

Education Qualification: BE/BTech in Mechanical, Aerospace & Electrical background.
