Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage branch banking operations ensuring customer service excellence, operational efficiency, and cost control.
- Drive branch business growth through retail banking products, cross-selling, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff to achieve sales and service targets.
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, banking regulations, and internal audit requirements.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies for retention and satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with high-value customers and local market stakeholders.
- Analyze branch performance metrics and initiate corrective actions for underperformance.
- Prepare and present periodic reports to senior management on branch profitability and growth.

- Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial data interpretation.

- High ethical standards and attention to compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and banking software applications.
Experience & Qualification
- Graduation (any discipline) required; MBA or Post-graduation preferred.
- 6-10 years of experience in banking or financial services
- Minimum 3-5 years in branch operations and sales leadership roles.
- Proven track record in driving branch profitability and managing large teams.
- Exposure to retail banking, cross-selling, and customer relationship management.
- Familiarity with RBI guidelines, audit processes, and operational risk management.
- Strong understanding of local market dynamics and business development strategies.
