Qualification
- BSC Nursing
Experience
- Minimum 2 year of experience after BSC
Certification
- Holding an active Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM) number from the State Nurses Registration Council
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for producing and distributing specific learning objectives with respect to the specialty and schedules to the clinical facilities prior to student's attendance at the facility.
- Brief the students regarding their clinical requirements, maintenance of daily dairy in the clinical setting and timely submission of assignments.
- Conduct demonstration and supervise return demonstrations of students in the lab.
- Patient assignment in the clinicals as per learning objective.
- Timely evaluation and correction of assignments submitted by students.
- Conduct and participate in formative and summative evaluation of the students and timely feedback to students.
- Conduct and participate in Guidance and counseling sessions.
- Supervises students in their area of clinical posting.
- Liaison with the ward in charge / staff nurses for smooth conduct of the clinical learning of the students.
- Teaching subjects in the curriculum as per direction of Principal/Vice Principal.
- Assist in maintenance of records pertaining to students as and when required.
- Assist in preparation of timetable, duty rosters and its distribution to assigned areas.
- Assist learners to identify both their learning needs and the effective learning activities required to meet those needs while fostering a positive attitude about the benefits and opportunities of life-long learning.
- Actively manage clinical risk, informs Nursing Head of incidents, and contributes to quality and risk planning.
- Lead and encourage continuous quality improvement activities with ongoing monitoring.
- Identify and actively involved in clinical audit activities related to clinical practice and improved patient outcomes.
- Maintain quality standards to meet accreditation and certification requirements.
- Conducts bedside clinical teaching to appraise the nursing students.
- Monthly maintenance and upkeep of respective labs.
- Participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities of the college.
