Role Summary

Were looking for a strategic, analytical, and highly structured leader who can think end-to-end, solve complex problems, and own large programs from strategy to execution.

The Manager S&O will play a key role in shaping business strategy, improving operations, building efficient workflows, driving automation, and partnering with leadership to accelerate growth.

This role demands someone who can connect the dots, build systems, and deliver results with full ownership.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Business Planning

  • Build and execute business strategies aligned with company priorities.
  • Study market trends, customer insights, and internal data to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps, set measurable goals, and track outcomes.
  • Partner closely with leadership to support quarterly and annual planning.

2. Program Ownership & Problem Solving

  • Own end-to-end programs from defining the problem to delivering impact.
  • Break down ambiguous problems, structure solutions, and drive execution with cross-functional teams.
  • Build strong business cases, run experiments, and track success metrics.
  • Ensure all initiatives run smoothly with clear communication, timelines, and accountability.

3. Workflow Design & Automation

  • Map, redesign, and optimize complex workflows across teams.
  • Identify bottlenecks and create scalable, efficient processes.
  • Drive automation using internal tools and external solutions to boost productivity and reduce manual effort.
  • Partner with tech, ops, and product teams to implement workflow improvements.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Support marketing strategy through insights, performance tracking, and data-backed recommendations.
  • Ensure alignment, remove blockers, and maintain strong communication across teams.

5. Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor a small team of analysts or associates.
  • Build a high-ownership, high-accountability culture.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support for skill development.
  • Set clear expectations and enable the team to deliver consistently.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4-9 years of experience in Strategy, Operations, Consulting, Program Management, or S&O roles.
  • Proven experience owning large strategic initiatives end-to-end.
  • Strong problem-solving and structured thinking.
  • Deep understanding of workflows, processes, and automation.
  • High proficiency with Google Workspace, dashboards, spreadsheets, and workflow tools.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, especially with senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical ability and comfort with data-backed decision-making.
  • Experience leading people or cross-functional teams.

Good-to-Have

  • Experience in SaaS, market intelligence, or fast-paced tech environments.
  • Exposure to marketing strategy or go-to-market planning.
  • MBA or equivalent degree (preferred but not mandatory).
