Java Developer | National Health Authority, Delhi
About the role
NHA is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Java Developer with over 10 years of hands-on experience in developing Backend Microservices related technologies to drive and implement Software Applications across NHA programs. The role is responsible for Designing and Developing Application and Services across the organisation. The role will work closely with PMU and stakeholders from various departments.
Qualifications
B.E/B.TECH OR MCA from a reputed college/University.
Technical Experience and Competencies
- Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience in software design, development and operations post qualification completion.
- Experience in Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Spring IOC and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of frontend tools like ReactJS , AngularJS is a plus.
- Experience in developing microservice-based applications.
- Expertise in data storage solutions using Redis, PostgreSQL , and MongoDB etc.
- Expertise in ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for logging and monitoring purposes.
- Experience in implementing event-driven architectures using Kafka.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and project management to ensure alignment of application development with business requirements.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, GitLab and code collaboration platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Key Mandate
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications and systems, from concept to deployment.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and software solutions.
- Architect scalable and maintainable software solutions, following best practices and design patterns in Java development.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards and guidelines.
- Implement unit tests and automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and stability of software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA testers, DevOps engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments and provide timely resolutions to technical problems.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in Java development and evaluate their potential impact on our software solutions.
- Work with NHA IT vendor - Perform code reviews and ensure latest code is checked in into Gitlab
